Dynamics GP PO Prepayments is probably the one enhancement I’ve been waiting for for the longest time. The purchase order module is well integrated with the inventory, payables, and general ledger in Dynamics GP, and it just seemed to me that putting a little prepayment function would really be great. Plus many of my customers asked about it. And now it’s here.
The Dynamics GP PO Prepayments function has two basic modes. You can either have a prepayment automatically generated during the payables/check writing process, or create a manual payment on the spot. It would also be neat if you could attach a previously unapplied payables check/payment to the PO, but I’m happy with what was delivered in GP 2013.
For a reason perhaps only known to people in Fargo, this function won’t work if you have Project Accounting installed.
